Judd Garden
On Thursday, 22 October a number of JPA Trustees were treated to a tour of the recently created Judd Garden hosted by Head Boy John Mulford. The JPA provided circa £1,900 of funds for the purchase of plants/trees/materials and the garden is now used not only as a place for both students and staff to relax in, but has also given the Gardening Club a chance to thrive and allows for biodiversity teaching.
This is just one example of how JPA funds are continuously used to benefit the entire Judd community.
Pictured (l to r) are: John Mulford (Head Boy), Tara Wright (JPA Trustee), Andrea Byerley (OJ parent & garden landscaper), Lucy Curtis (JPA Trustee), Greg Pring (JPA Trustee) and Jon Wood (Headteacher).
A special mention should also be made to Virginia Baldock (Judd Staff) who kindly arranged the tour, provided refreshments on the day, took the above photo and who continues to help maintain the garden.
