Swimming Success
Congratulations to our swimmers who took part at the ESSA Secondary Schools' Team Championship in Birmingham. The team just missed out on the final in the medley finishing in 11th place but they knocked over 3 seconds off their entry time and they beat the team who had beaten them at the Kent round. In the freestyle they made it into the final in 7th place and finished 6th overall! Again, knocking over 3 seconds off their entry time.
There were 24 teams who made it to the championships but over 200 teams had entered across the country. They beat specialist swim schools such as Mount Kelly and Whitgift and were not far behind Millfield. 6th in the country -we are very proud of all four of you, and we don't even have a school pool!
