Sun shines on Judd A Level students!
Students and staff at The Judd School celebrate an excellent set of A Level results, together with their onward destinations.
Performance at the highest levels was, as ever, exceptional, with more than 200 A* grades shared between almost 100 of our students.
Sixteen students achieved four A*s: Owen Arnold, Amy Cooper, Kit Cutler, Emma Hashiguchi, Fraser Hutton-Squire, Tom Huxley, Rajiv Koti, Elizabeth Lee, Krish Mehta, Shravani Sadalkar, Esme Scanlan, Aakaanksha Singh, Manav Singh, Anna Spivey, Jake White and Mizuki Williams.
A further twenty achieved three A*s: Billy Bruce, Isabel Bettison, Eva Ironside, Esme Lamplugh, Elise Patel, Danidu Perera, Oliver Poulter, Inara Shivji, Ellie Thomas, Mariyam Umer, Sajana Vithana Pathirana, Toby Barenbrug, Ethan Courtney, William Davey, James Glover, Isabella Hamann, Zubin Johri, Lulu Marken, Milli Ruseva and Laurel Wayne.
More than 80% of all results were graded B or better, a consistent picture over the last three years of our larger cohorts, post pandemic. Nearly half of all students finished with three A grades or better.
Jon Wood, Headteacher, said:
“Since the Sixth Form has grown to ever greater number, it has been a testament to the team of pastoral staff supporting our students, the teachers of ever larger classes and of all other staff helping our students that we have managed to maintain such high standards.
Of course, this wouldn’t be possible without tremendous efforts from our students to ensure they do their very best and secure outstanding next steps in the education and employment opportunities; thanks too to all the support received from parents. We are very proud of this year group and we look forward to celebrating their successes with them at Skinners’ Day - our Prize Giving Event - on 10th September.”
The Judd School continues to offer an inspiring Sixth Form with exceptional performance and a truly vast array of opportunities to discover, in and out of the classroom, surrounded by like-minded, interesting people in a friendly co-educational environment.
