Samsung - Solve for tomorrow competition

Lakky Y12 has been shortlisted for the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition, where students (16-18 year) develop tech-driven solutions to real-world problems. Lakky's idea is a smart soil sensor designed to help smallholder farmers in lower-income countries test soil health through simple, intuitive icons, making it accessible even for those with limited education. Over the next few months, she’ll be working with Samsung mentors, including researchers and tech specialists, to refine her prototype and bring the concept to life. As part of this opportunity, Lakky will be attending expert-led workshops and developing key skills in innovation, design, and problem-solving.

This is an exciting chance to make a real impact while gaining hands-on experience in tech development.

Congratulations to Lakky.
