Liverpool@CERN Particle School

Many of our students took part in this year's competition by writing an essay and a record of 4 of our Physics students have won a place on this years trip in August 2025. Well done to Torera, Max, Osian and Nathan!
The Liverpool University LHCb and ATLAS groups have agreed to host fantastic scholarly opportunity at CERN for the fourteenth year. The aim of the Particle school is to give future physicists exposure to the life of researchers at CERN. The students, who work with like-minded peers under the guidance of CERN researchers (PhD students and Post-Docs), will have access to data from the experiments at CERN, through dedicated activities and lectures. Students also experience the day-to-day atmosphere of the CERN laboratory. Many previous delegates have achieved undergraduate places at top universities, and some are now Post-Docs or Postgraduates in Physics
