We are so proud of our Judd Senior Football XI led by Ethan C Y13, the team played Chatham and Clarendon Grammar School in the Kent Cup Final on Friday night. It was a tough and hostile environment but the team battled well against an incredibly motivated side playing on their home turf. After going a goal down, Josh, our goalkeeper, made a few saves and his distribution from the back helped the team build their way into the game. Heading into injury time, Judd were well on top but couldn't find the killer pass. Into the 96th minute, Josh receives the ball in his own half before a long punt into the box; with Dante Y13 and Ollie Y13 causing chaos, the ball bounces over the opposition goalkeeper and into the net. Cue a mass bundle on the half way line (with a lot of players getting cramp!). The game finishes 1-1 with the Cup being shared in very dramatic circumstances!!
