Sixth Form
The vast majority of students stay on for the Sixth Form and are joined by around seventy five students, boys and girls from local schools and further afield. The links between the Sixth Form and younger students spans the activities of the school – academic, pastoral and extra-curricular. The Sixth Form embody the school’s maxim of ‘Learn, Grow, Belong’, contributing so much for which the school is known and acclaimed.
Students in the Sixth Form capitalise on the education they experience through the school, and are encouraged to retain a broad and balanced curriculum of A Level options.
The school supports students in making applications to university study and other career opportunities. Students have had outstanding success in recent years in achieving places at Oxford and Cambridge (often more than 20 students a year, some years many more), most others accepting places at Russell Group universities reading a range of subjects.
