Apps for Good Showcase
During Term 3, our Year 9 Computer Science students took part in the Apps for Good - Social Action programme which brings together schools from all over the UK.
Of the many fantastic themes and apps that were created, one of our teams has been invited back to the final to present their theme and app in front of a panel of industry experts on Monday 10th June (Today!).
Our finalists this year are OutOfTheBlue - Their theme and app aims to raise awareness of the scale of depression and suicide in young men offering support, guidance and an online community amongst other features - A very brave and mature theme to tackle!
This is the first time Judd has been involved in this programme so it is a fantastic achievement to have progressed this far.
Along with the main award, there is a People's Choice category...
It would be absolutely fantastic if you could vote for them - They have worked so hard to get this far; I could not be more proud.

Voting closes on Wednesday 19th June - Just click the Vote button at the bottom of their page and then the "Vote now" in the top right hand corner of their box.
Thanks in advance, and good luck to OutOfTheBlue!
Kind regards,
Mr M Barrow
